Hello!
Karnataka Sangeetam / Carnatic Music is the South Indian form of Classical Music. This blog is a humble attempt to introduce you to this melodious musical form!
You'll find series of audio-video tutorials to take you through a melodious carnatic music journey - from the basics! Besides free tutorials on YouTube, you'll also find a lot of lyrics & articles in the field of music. Besides pure classical, I also often post semi-classical / Hindi songs - just to break the routine! :-)
Disclaimer - I'm NOT a professional singer. I have been learning Carnatic Music for the past 15+ years and I love to teach myself new classical & semi classical songs. Through this blog, I hope to document everything I've learned - which will help in my practice and also help others in learning along with me!
If you have constructive feedback to help me improve / you find an error, please do let me know! I''d greatly appreciate it.
